Entry Education’s AML/CTF training is tailored to professional services across the financial and real estate industry.

This course will cover:

  • Your obligations under the AML/CTF Act
  • Common risks and red flags of money laundering and terrorist financing activity
  • Reporting procedures for suspicious behaviour
  • Role-specific training, such as Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Suspicious matter reporting (SMRs), and Threshold transaction reporting (TTRs)
  • Record keeping compliance
  • Organisational AML/CTF policies

Participants also gain practical, industry-relevant knowledge that can be applied across financial and real estate services.

The AML/CTF Tranche 2 reforms have been extended to professionals in the real estate and finance services sector, as of July 2026.

Finance and real estate businesses are classified as a reporting entity under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act), and have a legal obligation to protect the business and clients from being exposed to money laundering and terrorism financing activity.

Completing this program can contribute to your mandatory staff training requirement under the Act. It covers how to identify and verify customers, how to recognise and report suspicious activity, and what your reporting obligations to AUSTRAC look like in practice.

If you are completing the accredited skill set, you will be required to complete an LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy) assessment before starting the course.
You will also be required to provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number. If you do not currently have one, you can register at usi.gov.au.
This course also requires participants to have internet access and a device to access the program materials online.
