Real Estate Licence in Victoria – Certificate IV in Property Services (CPP40307)
This is our full real estate licence course, and completing it is the minimum requirement to work as a real estate agent in Victoria.
The course is designed for people currently working as agent representatives. Once you’ve successfully completed this course, you can open your own agency.
Options for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) are available at an extra cost.

We encourage you to work through your real estate licensing course at your own pace. There are no due dates, no pressure and minimal stress. All you have to focus on is your completion date.
If you’re working and studying at the same time, we’re here to support you. Our after-hours student support means you’ll have access to a tutor when you need it most.
Changes to the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) CPP40307 course
From 30 September 2021, the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) course will close and a new course will replace it.
To be eligible to enrol in the new course, Diploma of Property (Agency Management) (CPP51119), you will first need to complete the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419).
The Diploma of Property (Agency Management) is composed of 12 units and you will have 24 months to complete it. It enables you to work as a principal real estate agent and open your own agency.
