Diploma of Property –Agency Management (CPP51119)

This is the new diploma course that qualifies you to apply for a real estate licence in WA. The licence also allows you to open your own agency.

If you haven’t completed the full qualification yet, you’ll need to incorporate some of the units from Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419) or Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) (CPP40307) into the diploma course.

The course is composed of 12 online units plus the bridging units if you don’t have a full Certificate IV qualification.

The Diploma of Property (Agency Management) (CPP51119) is currently the educational requirement to apply for a real estate licence in WA.

You can also run your own agency with this qualification.

There are no educational requirements for this course, but it’s helpful if you’re already working in the industry in sales or property management.

However, you will need to complete an LLN quiz prior to commencing the course, and during the registration process you need to register for a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

Reliable internet and access to a desktop or laptop computer is required to complete your course.

The course is made up of 12 units. 

The Diploma of Property (Agency Management (CPP51119) is composed of 12 units. You must complete seven core units and five electives.

  • CPPREP5002 Establish and monitor property industry trust account management practices
  • CPPREP5003 Manage ethical practice in the property industry
  • CPPREP5004 Manage a safe workplace in the property industry
  • CPPREP5005 Manage teams in the property industry
  • CPPREP5006 Manage operational finances in the property industry
  • CPPREP5007 Develop a strategic business plan in the property industry

  • CPPREP5008 Market the property agency
  • CPPREP5009 Develop a marketing and service strategy in real estate
  • CPPREP5010 Manage customer service activities in the property industry
  • BSBOPS502 Manage business operational plans
  • BSBFIN501 Manage budgets and financial plans
  • BSBLDR522 Manage people performance

Depending on the current certificate you hold, you may be required to complete gap units in order to enrol in the Diploma of Property – Agency Management.

What support will I receive?

As a student, you have ongoing unlimited support throughout your course. A direct message system in the Entry Education portal enables you to seek support whenever you need it. This includes weekends and outside 9–5 office hours.

Entry Education is proud to remain your personal industry expert even after you complete your course.

How is this program delivered and how long do I have to complete it?

The course is delivered online and is self-paced. So there’s no pressure to meet deadlines, and you can work around your own work commitments.

The only commitment you have is to complete your Diploma of Property (Agency Management) (CPP51119) within the completion date.

Who issues my certificate or statement of attainment?

Entry Education is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 41529) and we issue students with their certificates, statements of attainment and transcripts of results.

Students receive soft copies (PDFs) of their certificate within 48 hours of successfully completing their course. This certificate is accepted by the government and all agencies. Hard copy certificates can be printed and posted to you for a fee of $20.

What are the qualification requirements?

To qualify as a licensed real estate agent in WA, you must provide a statement of attainment. This is issued to you by Entry Education (RTO 41529) after you successfully complete your course.

Once you have your statement of attainment from Entry Education, you can apply for a real estate licence from the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS), which is the real estate industry regular in WA. This will enable you to work as a real estate agent and open your own agency.
