To operate your own real estate agency in South Australia, you must be a registered Land Agent. As a Land Agent, you’re able to work in sales, property management, marketing and more. However, if you do not want to run your own agency just yet, this course will provide you with the skills you need to work in other real estate industry roles, including residential, commercial, and rural sales. It will also allow you to work in senior real estate roles, such as ‘Principal Agent’, ‘Agency Director’, ‘Licensee in Charge’ and ‘Agency Manager’ in SA.

The Land Agent course is composed of 36 units. From the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice and the CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management) as prescribed by Consumer and Business Services SA. The Land Agent course also includes the Property Manager Registration units and 19 of the Sales Representative Registration units. If you currently hold a valid Property Manager Registration or Sales Representative Registration with Consumer and Business Services SA, you may be eligible to study less units of this course. Successful completion of the Land Agent course – SA qualifies you to apply for a Land Agent Licence from Consumer and Business Services in South Australia.

There are no educational requirements for the Land Agent course in South Australia.

Prior to commencing the course you will be required to complete an LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy) assessment.

You will also be required to provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number. If you do not currently have one you will be able to register at usi.gov.au.

Reliable internet and access to a desktop or laptop computer is required to complete your course.

How is this program delivered and how long will I have to complete it?

Who issues my certificate or statement of attainment?

Entry Education is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 41529) and we issue students with their certificates, statements of attainment and transcripts of results.

Students receive soft copies (PDFs) of their certificate within 48 hours of successfully completing their course. Hard copy certificates can be printed and posted to you for a fee.

What are the qualification requirements?

To qualify as a Land Agent in South Australia, you must provide a statement of attainment. This is issued to you by Entry Education (RTO 41529) after you successfully complete your course.

Once you have your statement of attainment from Entry Education, you can apply for a Land Agent Licence from Consumer and Business Services in South Australia. This will enable you to work as a real estate agent and open your own agency.
