Completing the Resident Letting Agent Licence course, you’ll be able to manage and rent out units on behalf of owners and body corporates. Your responsibilities will include collecting rent, conducting property inspections, and operating a trust account.
Please note: this course does not qualify you to work as a licensed real estate agent. You cannot sell properties or units, or rent or sell units in complexes you don’t manage. The course includes 15 units of competency, all of which must be completed before receiving your certificate. You can then apply for a resident letting licence in Queensland through the office of Fair Trading.

What are the qualification requirements?
To qualify for your Resident Letting Agent Licence in QLD, you must provide a statement of attainment. This is issued to you by Entry Education (RTO 41529) after you successfully complete your course.
You can then apply to the Office of Fair Trading for your Resident Letting Agent Licence.
