Entry Education’s Property Manager Registration (PMR) course will qualify you to work in property management for a registered land agent, in Adelaide and South Australia. Once you complete the course and register with CBS, you’ll be qualified to manage residential and commercial properties across South Australia in line with industry best practices. Registered property managers conduct inspections, perform appraisals, sign agency agreements, and negotiate leases.

Why do I need to complete this course?

Property manager registration is required if you work for an agency managing residential or commercial properties in South Australia. This course is a good entry-level course into property management of residential or commercial properties and will allow you to get a taste for the role.

If you have your own property management business, you’ll need to be a registered land agent yourself.

What units will I complete?

This course has two options with respect to how it is completed, depending on your situation.

Option 1: Successful completion of the following 13 units of competency:

Option 2: Hold a current South Australian Sales Representative Registration (excluding registrations limited to being under supervision); and Successful completion of the following 8 units of competency:

Does this course have formal entry requirements?

There are no formal education requirements for our Property Manager Registration (PMR) course in South Australia.

Prior to commencing the course you will be required to complete an LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy) assessment.

You will also be required to provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number. If you do not currently have one you will be able to register at usi.gov.au.

Could I get government funding and do this course for a lower fee?

If you have started working in the industry in SA, you could complete the Sales Representative Registration, or the Property Manager Registration course for a lower fee with government funding. (Additional units may be required to complete this course with traineeship). Find out if you are eligible here.

Can I register in this course plus the Sales Representative Registration as a bundle?

You can register in the Sales Representative Registration and the Property Manager Registration together.

Who issues my certificate or statement of attainment?

Entry Education will issue all students with their certificates, statements of attainment and transcripts of results as we’re a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 41529).

Students will receive a soft copy (PDF) of their qualification once successfully completing the course. Hard copy certificates can be printed and posted to you for a fee.

What are the qualification requirements?

To qualify for registration as a property manager, you need to provide a statement of attainment. This is issued to you by Entry Education (RTO 41529) within 48 hours of successfully completing your course.

You can then apply to Consumer and Business Services in South Australia for registration as a Property Manager.
