CPPREP4002 Access and interpret ethical practice in real estate
CPPREP4003 Access and interpret legislation in real estate
CPPREP4004 Establish marketing and communication profiles in real estate
CPPREP4005 Prepare to work with real estate trust accounts

Why do I need to complete Assistant Agent course – NSW?

Successful completion of the Assistant Agent course is a mandatory requirement to work in the real estate industry.

Once you’ve successfully completed your certificate you can work in various roles under the guidance of a licensed real estate agent. Our professional practice is the best preparation for your new career. These roles include residential and commercial property sales, administration, buyer’s agent and real estate marketing.

What will this qualification enable me to do?

Completion of the five prescribed units is the educational requirement to apply for a Certificate of Registration with Fair Trading NSW, to start working as an assistant agent.

Under the guidance of a licensed real estate agent, an assistant agent can:

assist in sales of residential and commercial property
assist in real estate marketing campaigns
assist in property management services
assist in buyer’s advocacy services.

Does this course have formal entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements for the Assistant Agent course.

However, prior to commencing the course you will be required to complete an LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy) assessment.

You will also be required to provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number. If you do not currently have one you will be able to register at usi.gov.au.

Can I complete the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice instead?

Yes you can! The Assistant Agent course is made up of the first five units from the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. Once you complete the five Assistant Agent units, you will receive a statement of attainment that you can use to apply to Fair Trading for your Certificate of Registration.

Who will issue my qualification?

Entry Education will issue all students with their New South Wales certificates, statements of attainment and transcripts of results as we’re a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 41529).

Students will receive a soft copy (PDF) of their qualification once successfully completing the course. Hard copy certificates can be printed and posted to you for a fee.
