Government-subsidised real estate and mortgage broking courses for those in Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT)

If you’re interested in furthering your training in real estate or mortgage broking – great news! Entry Education is offering real estate and mortgage broker traineeship ACT courses with significant subsidies from the Australian Capital Territory Government. Whether you’re located in Canberra or elsewhere in ACT, there has never been a better time to kickstart the next step in your career by obtaining a government funded traineeship!

Entry Education are pleased to offer a number of real estate and mortgage broking courses to students for subsidised costs through these traineeships. Our Training Initiative Funding Agreement means that you can enter into a traineeship course that will qualify you for a brilliant career in real estate, or in finance and mortgage broking.

This ACT traineeship offer extends to the following courses:

With a dedicated, experienced trainer to support throughout, the real estate or mortgage broker traineeship ACT, typically run for approximately 9 to 12 months via mixed delivery, combining on and off the job training, face-to-face and virtual workshops.

In terms of qualifying for the courses, there are no formal academic entry requirements for enrolment in the FNS40821 Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management), or the Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (FNS50322).

For our mortgage broking and real estate traineeships:

  • To qualify for the ACT Training Initiative Funding Agreement subsidy for the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, FNS40821 Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or the FNS50322 Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, you must be employed or about to be employed in the relevant industry to your study.
  • To qualify for the ACT Training Initiative Funding Agreement subsidy for the CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management), you must be new to the industry. This means working less than three months full-time or 12 months part-time.

For all the above qualifications:

  • You must not have previously completed the qualification you are seeking to enrol into.
  • You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or New Zealand citizen who has been in Australia for six plus months. Some visa holders might be eligible.

Traineeships are work-study arrangements that combine practical experience with formal training through a registered training organisation such as Entry Education (RTO 41529).

Our traineeships in real estate and mortgage broking also:

  • require a valid training contract between the trainee and the employer
  • provide skills and experience that are highly valued by prospective employers.

Once you’ve decided to enrol with Entry Education for a traineeship course, we will:

  • evaluate your LLN (language, literacy and numeracy) skills to ensure you’ll be able to succeed in your course
  • ask you to complete an enrolment form and sign a training plan
  • talk with your participating employer about your training needs to ensure you get the instructions and hands-on experience to succeed in your industry
  • confirm that your employer can provide the training resources and facilities you need.

Once that’s all done, you can begin your Certificate IV or Diploma courses. Your coursework, along with the practical work experience gained through your traineeship, will position you for a successful career!

We may, in certain circumstances, be able to count your existing knowledge and life experience as recognition of prior learning (RPL) towards your certificate.
